Scholarships

Description of the scholarship: NPG’s annual scholarship is offered to students in the diaspora with African heritage and enrolled in high school or college level education. If you would like to apply for this scholarship, please review the eligibility criteria. Selected students will be presented with their scholarship awards at the NPG gala on Dec. 9th in Boston.

NPG also provides a continuously developing suite of programs, initiatives and resources made available to students to help with their chosen career pathway development as they grow through various experiences and interactions during their education.

NPG is proud to present the following 2 categories of awards;

  • Scholarship levels
    • High school student – $500 
    • College student – $500 
     

    Eligibility

    • Must be a student studying at a high school or college in MA
    • Must be in good academic standing
    • Must be able to attend the NPG gala
    • Respond to the following questions (200-300 words response for each question)
      • What is your career goal?
      • How do you plan to advance your local community in the diaspora or Africa (be specific about a country in your response)? 
    • College level applicants must be a student member of NPG (It’s free to join, just signup using membership link below).
     

    *Winners will be notified Dec 4th. Winners will be asked to create a video shout out for donors and NPG
