Membership FAQ

To be eligible for membership in the Nigerian Professional Group (NPG), you must meet the following criteria:

1.⁠ ⁠Nigerian or African Descent: Be of Nigerian or African descent.
2.⁠ ⁠Residency: Reside within the United States or Canada.
3.⁠ ⁠Education:
– Hold a minimum of a college degree
– Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program
– Be a student in high school with a strong academic record and a desire to pursue higher education
4.⁠ ⁠Professional/Entrepreneur: Be at any career level (early, mid, or experienced) or be a business owner with a track record of integrity, growth, and community.

Note: All members must sign the NPG’s terms and conditions.

We’ve updated our membership model to better cater to the diverse needs of our community. As of now, membership is available across different tiers, each designed to offer specific benefits and resources suitable for students, entrepreneurs, and professionals.

Students: Our student membership is available at $40, providing access to educational resources, networking opportunities, and special events tailored for those currently enrolled in educational institutions.

Entrepreneurs and Professionals: For entrepreneurs and professionals looking to expand their networks, access business resources, and engage with industry leaders, we offer a membership at $100. This tier is designed to support the growth and development of your professional endeavors.

Our goal is to make the membership valuable and accessible, ensuring members at every stage of their career can find support, resources, and community within NPG.

Your NPG membership now begins annually and is activated through a simplified, swift process. Here’s how it works:

1.⁠ ⁠Apply for Membership: Complete the membership application process by providing the necessary information about yourself and selecting the membership tier that best suits your needs.

2.⁠ ⁠Pay Your Membership Fee: Once you’ve applied, you’ll be prompted to pay the membership fee corresponding to your chosen tier.

3.⁠ ⁠Approval: Your application will be reviewed promptly, and approval is typically granted within 3 working days.

As soon as your application is approved, your membership is activated, and you gain full access to all the benefits, resources, and initiatives NPG offers. Your membership journey starts here, enabling you to engage with and contribute to our community immediately.

Yes! While everyone is welcomed to join our community, access to exclusive resources and events requires an annual membership fee. This fee must be renewed each year to maintain access to all benefits and initiatives. Your continued support helps sustain our community and ensures ongoing access to valuable resources.
