Welcome to the official page for the 2025 NPG Executive Board Election! This is your one-stop resource for understanding the election process, key leadership roles, and how you can participate.

Elected & Appointed Positions

  • President – Leads the organization, oversees operations, and represents NPG externally.
  1. Serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the association.
  2. Acts as the official spokesperson and presides over all meetings.
  3. Appoints or removes committee directors with the concurrence of the ELT.
  4. Oversees the implementation of the Constitution and strategic initiatives.

  • Director of Special Projects
  1. Leads strategic initiatives and collaborates with the Vice Presidents to drive projects.
  2. Assists in securing corporate partnerships and sponsorships.

  • Director of IT & Media: Oversees technology, communications, and media initiatives for the association.
  1. Manages the association’s website and contact databases.
  2. Develops marketing materials (brochures, sponsor packets, media kits).
  3. Oversees photography/videography for events.
  4. Addresses public relations matters with Executive Board approval.

Chair positions
  • Chairperson, Student Relations – Acts as the liaison between NPG and student communities, supporting student engagement and professional development.
  • Chairperson, Program Operations – Ensures smooth execution of events and initiatives, working closely with the Director of Operations.
  • Chairperson, Finance Operations – Assists the Director of Finance in managing financial records, budgeting, and fundraising efforts.
  • Chairperson, Community Engagement & Chapters – Strengthens member engagement and supports the growth of NPG chapters by organizing community initiative and providing guidance to chapter leaders.
  • Chairperson, Corporate Partnership – Supports the development and management of corporate relationships to secure sponsorships, funding, and strategic collaborations that support NPG’s mission and initiatives.

Eligible members will vote for the following executive positions. Candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria outlined in the NPG Constitution.

 

  • Vice President of Global Strategy
  1. Focuses on fundraising, brand ambassadorship, and corporate partnerships.
  2. Oversees the Director of IT & Media and strategy committees.
  3. Assumes the role of President if the President cannot complete their term.

  • Vice President of Operations
  1. Oversees program operations, mentorship programs, and scholarship committees.
  2. Acts as parliamentarian during meetings and ensures adherence to rules and policies.
  3. Leads the development and maintenance of the association’s operational plan. of Operations

  • Director of Membership
  1. Manages membership relations, community partnerships, and the membership database.
  2. Responsible for creating new chapters and securing community partnerships.

  • Director of Finance
  1. Maintains accurate financial records and prepares financial reports.
  2. Oversees fundraising, financial operations, and budget preparation.

  • Secretary
  1. Manages compliance committees and ensures the implementation of the association’s value propositions.
  2. Records meeting minutes, maintains attendance records, and distributes agendas.

Election Applications Open
Feb 10, 2025
Interested candidates can begin submitting applications for all positions. Eligibility criteria and application details will be available on the website.
Application Deadline
Feb 24, 2025
Final day for candidates to submit their applications. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Candidate Review & Selection
February 24 – March 3, 2025
The electoral committee will vet applications, ensuring eligibility and qualifications before finalizing the ballot.
Candidates Notified of Selection
March 3, 2025
Approved candidates will receive confirmation of their eligibility to run for office.
Interview Period for Appointed Positions
February 24 – March 10, 2025
Candidates applying for appointed roles will be interviewed by the electoral committee.
Elections Event & Candidate Presentations
March 8, 2025
Candidates will have the opportunity to present their vision to NPG members. Online voting will officially open after this event
Online Voting Period
March 8 – March 10, 2025
NPG members will cast their votes online during this window.
Voting Closes
March 10, 2025
Online voting officially ends at 11:59 PM EST. No further votes will be accepted.
Election Results Certified & Candidates Notified
March 12, 2025
The electoral committee will verify and certify the results before notifying all candidates.
Public Announcement & Leadership Transition Begins
March 14, 2025
The election results will be shared with NPG members. Leadership transition and onboarding for newly elected officers will commence.
New Executive Board Takes Office
April 1, 2025
Newly elected officers officially begin their term of office and assume their roles.
